As churches gather across the world we know that a centre of prayer will be the corona virus pandemic. Thank you to Iain and Pat for the letter we all received yesterday where they encouraged us with the strength and hope of scripture, and the assurance of our faith in the Almighty:
“Let the joy of the Lord be our strength. He is our Rock and nothing takes the Lord by surprise.”
“This is a great opportunity for us to demonstrate our trust and confidence in our Father God … ask Him to make us bold to witness to others about our trust in Him and why.”
This is the day that the Lord has made and – in the midst of whatever may be happening around us – we will rejoice and be glad in Him.
